March 2008

As I write this letter it is nearing the end of February. I can hardly believe it! The hours of sunlight are still gradually increasing, while the weather begins to show signs of the coming spring. We praise the Lord for the extra sunshine.

We also praise God for Sandpoint and McGrath that are ready to go back on the air. Port Alsworth has acquired a new low power FM construction permit for installation —another praise! In addition, we have received the approval of an FM for Nenana, and Art Thompson is hard at work installing the transmitter and readying the FM studio. We want to thank you so much for your prayers, for God has been gracious to answer them!

However, there is still urgent need for prayer. Beginning April 30th, we will NO LONGER HAVE STAFFING FOR OUR BETHEL, ALASKA STATION - KYKD. Ben and Pat Burkey who have been filling in so honorably and have been doing a super job for this ministry will be heading back to the South where it is warm. Therefore, we are looking for a couple who would be willing to go out to Bethel to keep it on the air. We have been broadcasting there for twelve years and pray that it is God’s will for it to continue. We have a nice newly built duplex there. Please pray for God to rise up one of his own to go out to Bethel, even if only for one year.

Again, we cannot begin to express our great thanks for your partnership in prayer and giving!

Psalms 124:8 "Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth."

God’s blessings to you,
